Double Chocolate Muffins
This is my double chocolate muffin recipe. Another easy quick dessert recipe, I have used wholemeal self-raising flour, yoghurt and cooking oil rather than butter making my muffins extra moist and not dry. The milk chocolate goes very well together in this recipe but of course you can use plain chocolate if you wish.
Ingredients
For 12 Muffins
200g wholemeal self-raising flour
50g cocoa
70g caster sugar
3 eggs
150g milk chocolate or plain chocolate
100ml cooking oil
60ml plain yoghurt
50ml milk
1 level teaspoon baking powder
70g chocolate chips (for the topping)
Muffin tin
Muffin cases
Icing sugar (for decorating optional)
Method
This recipe is a one bowl recipe, mix all your dry ingredients with the wet ingredients. Only sprinkle your chocolate chips before putting your muffins into the oven. Bake for 25 minutes at 160c
It’s as simple as that, enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee.
