Korean Fried Chicken
This is my very own crispy spicy Korean fried chicken, its so delicious and so easy to make. A must make chicken recipe. You will definitely get compliments when you serve this chicken recipe. I guarantee it.
Ingredients
Serves 4-5
1 kg chicken
1 egg 50mls milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
For The Coating
2 cups plain flour
4 tablespoons cornflour
1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
1/2 teaspoon garlic granules
1/2 teaspoon onion granules
1/2 teaspoon mixed dried herbs
1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
For The Korean Sauce
3 garlic cloves minced
1 tablespoon ginger
2 spring onions chopped
1-2 tablespoons Korean gochujang paste
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon cooking oil

Method
1. Marinate the chicken piece with the first stage of ingredients. Leave over night or after 1 hour.
2. Now in a bowl make up the coating for the chicken using the second stage of ingredients, and coat the chicken.
3. Fry the chicken and then drain using a paper towel and leave the chicken in the oven to keep it warm while you make the Korean sauce.
4. In a sauce pan pour some oil and add the ginger, garlic, spring onions, and sauté together. Then add all the ingredients in and stir well. Once boiling the sauce is ready to pour over the chicken.
5. Serve hot with noodles or chips the choice is yours.
