Japanese Teriyaki Salmon
This Teriyaki Salmon recipe is so quick and easy to make. You don’t have to fry your salmon instead this Teriyaki Salmon is baked in the oven. The salmon will be so moist and so delicious. Just don’t forget to cover the salmon with the foil. Follow my recipe and you’ll get the perfect Teriyaki Salmon every time. Serve with rice and salad or vegetables of your choice.
Ingredients
Serves 4-5
1kg Salmon
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon Teriyaki sauce
1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon fresh ginger
1 tablespoon cooking oil
1 teaspoon onion granules
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic granules
1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine (can use apple juice for substitute)
Garnish
2 spring onions
1 red chilli
1 teaspoon parsley
1 1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds
Method
1. Prepare and wash the salmon then put into a bowl.
2. Put all the ingredients in with the salmon mix well and leave to marinate. Over night is better, but you can leave for about 2 hours if you can’t wait.
3. On a baking tray line with foil pour a little oil and place your ready marinated salmon.
4. Cover with foil which is really important this will keep your salmon moist while baking.
5. Oven bake for about 35 to 40 minutes or until cooked through. Oven bake at 160c It’s as simple as that.
