Caramel Chocolate Chip Giant Cookie

This is my caramel chocolate chip cookie in a pan. I think this is a perfect dessert if you like a cookie all to yourself. If you like a gooey cookie then just bake it for about 10 minutes. I have baked my cookie in a cast iron pan, just serve this cookie with vanilla ice cream on top. It so delicious!

Caramel Chocolate Chip Giant Cookie

Ingredients

50g unsalted butter

60g light brown sugar

1 egg

80g plain flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

80g chocolate chips plain and milk (and little extra for decorating on top)

vanilla ice cream

Method

1. In a pan melt your butter, then in a bowl of brown sugar, pour your melted butter in then stir.

2. Put in the egg and stir, add the flour, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda, vanilla extract and finally add the chocolate chips and combine together.

3. In a cast iron pan, line and butter the pan before pouring out the cookie mixture into the pan.

4. Decorate the cookie with the extra chocolate chips.

5. Put it into the oven and bake for 12 to 14 minutes at gas mark 4 or 160 C (fan). If you want a gooey cookie then bake for just 10 minutes.
