Fried Red Snapper
This is a quick shallow fried fish recipe, using basic ingredients. You can of course oven bake this fish too. Follow my recipe and you will have yourself a delicious fish meal that you can serve with anything you desire.
Ingredients
1kg Red snapper fish
2 garlic cloves
1 red fresh chilli
1 teaspoon ginger
1 small onion
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon salt
5 fresh curry leaves chopped
20ml water
Cooking oil to shallow fry
Method
1. Grind the garlic, chilli, ginger, onion in a small blinder with a little of water, grind to a paste.
2. Add the paste to the prepared fish.
3. Now add your spices and curry leaves.
4. Marinate overnight or for a minimum of 30 minutes.
5. Once marinated pour a little oil in a large frying pan and shallow fry the fish.
6. Turn your fish half way so you can cook the fish evenly.
7. Once cooked serve immediately. So quick and simple as that. Enjoy :-)
