Crispy Vegetarian Pakoras

This recipe is a delicious Indian fried snack made with chickpea flour, spices and vegetables of your choice. It is so simple to make and you can make them at anytime.

Crispy Vegetarian Pakoras

Ingredients

3 cups Gram flour

3 large potatoes (long thin slices)

3 large onions sliced

Handful fresh coriander leaves

4 to 5 fresh chillies (optional)

Salt

1 teaspoon chilli powder

I teaspoon coriander seeds

1 teaspoon cumin seeds

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon ajwain seeds

Water

Method

1. In a clean bowl put all your ingredients.

2. When adding your chickpea flour add little by little, this will be the same with the water.

3. Do not add too much water as your batter will become too runny, and it will not stick to your vegetables.

4. Once mixed, fry a small handful into your hot oil and fry until well done.Enjoy!
