Double Chocolate Cupcakes

These are my double chocolate cupcakes with chocolate chips, they are extremely moist, soft and so delicious, most of all they are so easy to make. I have used my own vanilla frosting, let me know if you want me to show you how to make the perfect frosting for your cupcakes. These cupcakes are just perfect for a quick treat and it will be ready in just 22 minutes.

Double Chocolate Cupcakes

Ingredients

190g self-raising flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

50g butter melted

200mls milk

3 eggs

150g milk chocolate chips

80g caster sugar

70g cocoa powder

Vanilla Buttercream Frosting

200g icing sugar

1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

225g butter

Chocolate sprinkles of your choice

Method

1. Put all the ingredients into a bowl and mix together.

2. Line your cupcakes baking tray and pour your cake batter halfway full.

3. Then put the tray into the oven at fan 160c for 22 minutes or until the cupcakes are cooked through.

4. Once baked leave on a metal rack to cool.

5. Mix together your buttercream frosting and fill a piping bag with a nozzle and pipe your cupcakes. Once done decorate with the sprinkle of your choice.
