Rocky Road
Rocky Road is incredibly delicious and simple to prepare. A dazzling classic chocolate treat, this recipe is a smooth, melted milk chocolate enticed with fluffy marshmallows and crushed with chocolate biscuits. It's ideal for a decadent treat. Rocky Road is certain to become a family favourite.
Ingredients
350g milk chocolate
125g butter
4 tablespoons syrup
200g marshmallow
200g coco pops
150g chocolate bars of your choice
150g digestive milk chocolate biscuits
8x12inches baking tray
Method
1. Heat in a pan butter, syrup and milk chocolate until smooth melted, on a low heat.
2. Take the pan off the heat and add your chocolate of your choice, biscuits and coco pops stir together until the chocolate has combined
3. Add half the marshmallows and mix in.
4. Pour the mixture into the baking try add the other half of the marshmallows on top of the rocky road and put the rocky road in the fridge to chill for at least 2 hours before cutting into squares.
5. Store your rocky road covered and away from any strong smelling foods in the fridge.
